Ducati SuperSport 939 spied
This is the first glimpse of the new Ducati SuperSport 939 in action. It’s also the first time it’s been seen since the leaked images from last month’s World Ducati Week, where the bike was previewed in a secure area.
2017 Ducati Supersport S Leaked
This past weekend, more than 81,000 Ducatisti congregated at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for World Ducati Week. While most of the event was a big red love-in, perhaps the biggest news to come from the weekend was the announcement of the limited edition 1299 Panigale S Anniversario and a special sneak peak at a brand new Ducati SuperSport model.
Some Details on the New Ducati Supersport
We haven’t seen the “Supersport” sport-touring line in almost a decade, but it will be making a return for the 2017 model year, with two bikes.

Whilst Ducati have released sneak previews of bikes before at the event – most recently the Ducati Scrambler was hidden in bright yellow shipping crates for guests to see in 2014 before it’s official unveiling later that year – the fact that this year is also that of Ducati’s 90th birthday celebrations means that we’ll be getting two new machines to look at.
Ducati's 2017 SuperSport Unveiled at Intermot
The sheet has finally been pulled off of Ducati’s SuperSport machine. Ducati revealed the bike during a private showing at World Ducati Week earlier this summer, but besides a few details culled from a leaked cell-phone shot (click here to see the first SuperSport spy shots), we haven’t been able confirm much about the bike.
