A Societa Scientifica Radio Brevetti Ducati céget 1926-ban alapították a Ducati testvérek: Adriano, Marcello és Bruno. Eleinte rádóalkatrészeket gyártottak, majd a második Világháború környékén kerékpárra szerelhető segédmotort fejlesztettek ki.
